does anyone know how to get custody of a child?

Me and my ex were together for two years and for two years I’ve been dealing with verbal, emotional, and physical abuse. I would like to get child custody of my daugter and don’t know anything about it. Please help me!

Custody cases can be very tricky. Hire a great attorney and let him know of any and all cases of abuse to both you and your child. However, you need to be able to prove serious abuse or neglect in order to get full custody and no visitation.
First step is going to a lawyer. They can tell you everything about it.
Sorry but unless you called the police and reported the abuse when it was going on you are out of luck. Joint custody is the way it happens now.
If he is abusing the child and you can prove it (your word is not good enough) you can obtain supervised visits.
If you are not married and no custody order is in place move to another state
